Wireless Recharge Station Hexagon 310 of Canyon wins the Red Dot Award 2025 for product design – Canyon Blog

Red Dot Award 2025 contributed more than recognition. For Canyon, it was confirmed that geometric daring, combined with the first thinking of users, can remodel the perception of personal technology and is used. Hexagon 310 wireless loading station was never another desktop device. From the beginning, it was designed as a new logic of interaction: without discomfort, without friction, without obligation between performance and design.

We have worked in a way that was rarely seen in consumer electronics – the hexagon – not to be different for the sake of difference, but because it offered something functionally better. At the hexagon wireless loading station 310, geometry becomes orientation: devices fall naturally in place, wireless loading areas are defined without visual instructions and the whole configuration is instinctively organized. The total output of 24W is distributed in three zones: 15W for smartphones, 3W for headphones and 2.5W for smart watches, simultaneously loaded at 2-3 hours. Add a 20W adapter with EU and United Kingdom interchangeable caps, four protection systems and a subtle environment lamp, and you have a product that does not call to notice, but wins its place clearly and intention.

The Hexagon 310 wireless loading station is a clear manifestation of a wider approach. The hexagon series applies the same design principle through a complete program of devices. Here, six -sided architecture is not a visual gesture: it is a structural logic that shapes how they feel, work and fit the products in real lives.

These devices did not match. They developed to solve the same design problem through shared visual and space language: one that deals with the form and its function as inseparable.

“We took the risk of designing around a manner that was rarely used in consumer technology, hexagon. But it allowed us to rethink the interaction of users with their devices,” said Vladlens Zabelskis, CEO of Canyon. “The Hexagon 310 wireless charging station is not only visually distinctive; its geometry improves alignment, optimizes space and guides intuitive placement. The Red Dot prize confirms that a great design is not only about how something is seen, but in a smart way.”

As the hexagon series begins its global launch, the goal is not to add more apparatus to daily life. It is to rethink how people experience technology: eliminating friction, creation of rhythm and most deliberate interaction. Sometimes this change begins with the simplest act: set up the phone to load it and have it well for the first time.
